The centenary of the narrow-gauge railway line (1m) from Trallee to Dingle - which operated from 1891 until 1953 - was marked by the re-opening to passenger traffic of the first stretch (2,4 km) between Tralee and Blennerville. The train consists of three original carriages driven by an original steam locomotive, No 5, a 2-6-2 built by Hunslett of Leeds.
