Bury or Whitehall Bridge, spanning the entrance to the canal basin, is the last canal-bridge to survive unaltered. The former warehouses have been demolished but the harbour master's house still stands at the corner of St. Brigitte's Place. The Catholic church is roofed with long pieces of timber and contains stained glass windows by Harry Clarke. Saint Catherine's Church, designed by Francis Johnston, contains a memorial to the first Earl of Charleville.
