Selskar Abbey : Michelin's recommendations

The abbey, founded around 1190 by Sir Alexandre de La Roche upon his return from the Crusades, was dissolved in 1538. The outer walls and square tower have been well preserved. Henry II did penance for Thomas Becket's murder in Selskar during Lent of 1172.
