The park and gardens of Benvarden House are open to the public every summer. A walled garden, the walls of which were once part of the old fortifications, has a rose garden, a normal garden, a vine arbour and a pathway leading under a pergola. A wild garden and path dotted with azaleas are part of the park which leads down to the River Bush. Over the river is a stone and wrought iron bridge, dating from Victorian times, particularly uncommon in Ireland.
