This country park illustrates Irish rural activity at the turn of the century at the height of the Agricultural Revolution. Various artefacts have either been brought from their place of origin or are replicas, including a forge, complete with bellows and a set of blacksmith's tools, a mill with its wheel, typical houses from different regions, a mountain farmhouse, with its settle bed and flagstone floor and a farmhouse from Golden Vale with an exquisite thatched roof; all are open to visitors.
