The stone spiral staircase in this beautiful 16C defensive tower leads to a series of exhibitions which relate the building's recent work and illustrate the region's importance during the Middle Ages when it was an educational centre for the study of law. The gallery in the main hall, near the new dome-shaped roof, leads to a balcony overlooking the boundless scenery of the Burren.
