This ruined church has elements built at various times: the nave dates back to the 10C, the fine western portal, like that in Banagher, from the mid-12C, the tower from the 17C and the choir from the year 1200. In the cemetery is the tomb of Saint Lurach, founder of a large monastery here in the 6C. It is marked by a sculpted cross in a circle.
