Peatlands Park Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Peatlands Park, including Derryadd Lough, was used in the 19C for hunting and growing timber. About half the acreage has been designated a National Nature Reserve, with restricted access to protect the natural flora and fauna. The public park includes a bog garden, two small lakes, an orchard and woodland. Demonstrations of turf cutting are given and a narrow-gauge railway provides a scenic tour of the park.
