Slieve Gullion Forest Park consists of pines, larches and spruce. The Visitor Centre, which contains an exhibition on forestry and a display of obsolete hand tools, is housed in old farm buildings. Nearby is a walled garden set out with lawns around a pond. A path, waymarked in white, leads to Slieve Gullion. There is an extraordinary view from the summit (577m).
