This Citadel, which has been here since the Lombardo period in the 8C, has a courtroom decorated with admirable frescoes from the 14C evoking the life of the archbishop Ottone Visconti. From the Castellana, tower you have a vast panoramic outlook over lake Major. The fortress also accommodates the Doll museum (Museo della Bambola) which charts the history of the doll from the start of the 19C until the present day.

Pros
Un nid d'aigle sur le lac, de la tour sommitale un panorama extra large sur le lac la ville basse et sur le vignoble. Charpente médiévale remarquable ainsi que les fresques de la salle.Musée de la poupée étonnant par les collections présentées.
