It is impossible not to be impressed by this landscape, known locally as scrimioni (streaks), which has been compared to scenes from Dante's Inferno. Composed of a series of precipices, a vegetation so sparse as to be almost nonexistent and white sediment, you could almost believe you're on the moon.
