Set up in the convent adjacent to the S. Francesco church, this museum accommodates an art gallery uniting the works of the Da Ponte family, who were native Bassano painters, the most famous of which is Jacopo Bassano, who was active in the 16C and was Louis XIV's favourite artist. His style was one of realism placed under a harsh and contrasting light. The gallery also exhibits works by Venetian painters such as Marco Ricci or Tiepolo and two beautiful paintings by the Genoese Magnasco.
