Palace of King Enzo : Michelin's recommendations

Poor Enzo was the son of Emperor Frederick II: the Guelphs who supported an independent community constituted, in 1249 in Fossata, the Imperial Army and took his son Enzo prisoner to Bologna. He was kept imprisoned until his death, 23 years later. This 13th C. palace, adjacent to the Palace of the Magistrate, has a beautiful interior courtyard and a magnificent staircase leading to a gallery that poor Enzo had all the time in the world to contemplate.
