You can reach this plateau dominating the valley between Bolzano and Ponte Gardena by car from north Bolzano Nord or by a little electric train running between Marria Assunta and Collalbo. The plateau is oriented towards the Dolomites and is populated by rain pillars (known here as "Earth pyramids") produced by erosion.
