This 11C-12C church with its beautifully ornamented apses is one of the most significant examples of Romanesque architecture in Abruzzi. The elegantly simple interior has a graceful Romanesque colonnade. Note the striking 12C ambo (pulpit), near the entrance to the chancel.

Pros
This beautifully shaped Romanesque church is often overshadowed by the wonderful interior of its neighbour, the Basilica of San Pellegrino. Whereas the latter would be my first choice in Bominaco, it would be madness not to give this one a short time.
