Brindisi : Michelin's recommendations

This trading and naval port has a daily ferry service to Greece. Not surprisingly, Greece has played a major role in the history of Brindisi: the city’s name derives from the Greek word brenteséion (“stag head”). Once a port of embarkation for crusaders travelling to the Holy Land, Brindisi, along with Taranto and Bari, now forms part of the industrial “triangle” of southern Italy.
