When you enter this abbey, founded in 1142 by the Bressanone Church, you will discover the eight wonders of the word, which decorate the courtyard well and notice that the Abbey is one of them. You will be also struck by the richness of the church interior, with its Bavarian decor. The cloister was covered with frescoes some of which have now been restored, and as for the magnificent Rococo library, it has 76 000 volumes made up of incunabulum and illustrated manuscripts.
