It is installed in this Palace, which has a lovely Catalan portal. In the archaeology section, you will see a set of Matutae (ancient Italian mother-Goddesses carrying their babies in their arms), and a beautiful mosaic. And in the medieval section, you will see sculptures of an old town gateway (around 1239). On leaving the museum, do not miss surveying an area where several Lombard Foundation Churches are located (S. Giovanni, S. Salvatore Maggiore, S. Michele, S. Marcello).
