Cividale del Friuli : Michelin's recommendations
The former Forum Julii, overlooking the River Natisone, gave its name to the Friuli region. The town, home to the patriarchs of Aquileia, then ruled by the Venetian Republic, was badly damaged by the 1976 earthquake, but has since been rebuilt.
