This magnificent Lombard building, which was started in the Gothic style and finished in the Romanesque style has a sumptuous white marble façade (with a frieze, large rose, and statue-columns) fronted by a porch. As for the interior, it contains frescoes by artists from the Cremona school (B. Boccaccino, les Campi, les Bembo, Pordenone...). Note the equally elegant high-relief by Amadeo,the sculptor-architect of the Pavie chapterhouse.
