Dorgali : Michelin's recommendations
This lively village perched on the western slopes of Monte Bardia is situated 10km west of Cala Gonone and 30km east of Nuoro. Dorgali has one of the largest surface areas of all the communes in Sardinia and is renowned for its craft traditions (ceramics, leatherwork, weaving and goldwork), wine and cheeses. The old town has retained some of its volcanic stone houses and the parish church of Santa Caterina houses a fine wooden altar dating from the 18C.
