Faenza Travel guide
Faenza : Michelin's recommendations
Faenza gave its name to the ceramics known as faience, a varnished or enamelled earthenware produced in the town as early as the 15C. Also known as majolica in Italy (because of pottery imported from Mallorca), faience is still produced by numerous craftsmen in Faenza today and is renowned for its delicate clay, remarkable enamel work and brilliant colours.
