It was into this town house that Marfise d'Este welcomed the Tasso who wrote Jerusalem delivered in Ferrara. Inside you will see some 16 and 17C furniture as well as some sophisticated grotesques decorating the ceiling. Do not miss the Loggia of orange trees (entry via the garden) with its vault decorated with a pergola in trompe-l'oeil.
