This is a small stone basin made of volcanic rock surrounded by magnificent cliffs and volcanic rocks. The seawater acts like an emerald-green mirror.

This headland ends with the arco dell' Elefante , which is a spectacular arch made of grey volcanic rock which looks like an elephant due to its colour and shape.

This charming deep green lake encloses sulphurous water on its western side. According to legend, Venus loved to go there to see her reflection in the water and compare her beauty to that of her rival, Psyche.
