Linked to La Maddalena by a 600m-long bridge, Caprera is the second largest island in the archipelago in terms of its surface area and the length of its coastline, and is also considered to be the most beautiful of the islands and the richest for its flora. To the northeast, don’t miss the steep cliffs which plunge into the sea and Cala Coticcio, a breathtakingly beautiful cove situated nearby. Also of interest is the house where Giuseppe Garibaldi once lived, which is now a museum.
