This summit (altitude 836m) dominates the whole of the island of Pantelleria, commanding a fine view. On a clear day you might even be able to catch a glimpse of Sicily and Tunisia. The road to the peak affords wonderful vistas of the region. When you reach the end of the tarmacked road, you will have to park the car and walk past two edifices (a dammuso and a chapel). A little further on, to the left, a large stone staircase leads to the Pirates Cave which was sanctuary to countless outlaws.
