Museo dell'Ottocento : Michelin's recommendations

Milan’s only villa-museum occupies a neo-Classical villa by Pollack built in 1790 for Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso. The museum of modern art has an important collection of works (The Fourth Estate by Giuseppe Pellizza). The Carlo Grassi collection is composed of French and other non-Italian pictures (notably Impressionist works), while the museo Marino Marini is dedicated to sculpture and paintings by the great artist. The PAC (Contemporary Art Pavilion) holds temporary exhibitions.
