The building was commissioned by Sancie of Majorca, the pious wife of King Robert the Wise. It is a church of the Order of Saint Claire, in Gothic Provençal style. The cloister next to the church was transformed in the 18C into a garden and planted with orange, medlar and cypress trees, separated by ceramic paved paths: a minor miracle of harmony and tranquillity!
