This church was built between 1577 and 1659 to plans by Pellegrino Tibaldi and topped between 1844 and 1876 with an audacious dome, created by Novara architect Alessandro Antonelli. Among some interesting works inside, note the paintings by Morazzone and Gaudenzio Ferrari, and the silver sarcophagus of the patron saint of Novara, San Gaudenzio.
