Museum of Sardinian Life and Popular Traditions : Michelin's recommendations
The Museo della Vita e delle Tradizioni Popolari Sarde is a major ethnographical museum housed in a building designed by Antonio Simon, whose aim was to replicate a Sardinian village. Some 8 000 exhibits dating from the end of the 19C and first half of the 20C are brought together in this space covering almost 1 000m2, providing a comprehensive overview of a heritage combining traditional techniques and design: clothes, jewellery, musical instruments, reliquaries, liturgical objects and amulets, carpets, objects from daily life, weapons, furniture, masks etc.
