Among the objects found on the site, there are the metopes, Doric 6C BC bas-reliefs, the tomb of the diver, a rare example of Greek funerary painting: the plunge, an allegory of the passage from life to death, symbolises the jump past the columns of Hercules, the limit of the known world. Finally there is a superb collection of vases and, from the small underground temple, painted Lucanian tombs and a terracotta flower lady used as an incense burner.
