Poggio Bustone : Michelin's recommendations

This village lies 10km north of Rieti, near a cave in which St Francis of Assisi is said to have lived. The village’s Convento di San Giacomo comprises of a 14C church, much altered but with its original frescoes, charming 15C and 16C cloisters, as well as a refectory dating from the 14C.
