Ariccia : Michelin's recommendations

Ariccia’s main square, with its two fountains, was designed by Bernini in 1664. The palace on the left was owned by the Chigi banking family in the 17C, while, on the right, the church of Santa Maria dell’Assunzione is elegantly flanked by two porticos. The church’s circular interior, capped by a dome, is well worth a visit.
