Bibendum
The brick Senate building, dating from Diocletian (3rd century), was restored to its present state in 1937, once St. Adrian's church, that had squatted it since the 7 th century, had been taken out. It has a more austere look than in the past. Inside, you can see three rows of terraces, where Senators sat. Trajan's low reliefs represent (very realistically) the pig, sheep and bull sacrified during purification ceremonies.
