Palazzo Venezia Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Built by Pope Paul II, this was one of the earliest Renaissance buildings in Rome. Napoleon used it as the seat of the French administration, and Mussolini also based his government here. On the first floor, a museum displays collections of medieval art (ivories, Byzantine enamels, early Italian paintings on wood, goldwork) plus ceramics and small bronzes (15C-17C).
