San Pantaleo : Michelin's recommendations

Located in an incredible setting on a slope of Monte Cugnana (650m) and nestling amongst the blue-tinted grey of the granite, the village has low-lying little houses that take on the colours of the surrounding rock. It offers breathtaking views over a large part of the coast and mainland. This agricultural village, constructed at the end of the 19C around the church of the same name, was built out of rock and reconstructed in 1903. It is home to numerous craftsmen specialising in wrought iron, marquetry and stoneware.
