Isola di Sant'Antioco
Isola di Sant'Antioco
: Michelin's recommendations
Linked to the main island by a man-made isthmus, the island of Sant'Antioco, the largest in Sardinia, is located in the southeast. Its 15 000 inhabitants live mainly in Sant'Antioco and Calasetta. A peaceful natural site populated by pink flamingoes and graceful pied avocets, it has coasts, that are sandy in the north and steep in the west and south, as well as beaches, both secluded and lively, and a clear sea backing onto green scrubland. What more could you ask for?

Pros
A wonderful stay, the people of the island was welcoming, wonderful places, blue sea and transparent, like a dream. We had no problem and the apartment we rented was Blue Sardinia Holidays ( http://www.bluesardiniaholidays.com ) allowed us to relax and live carefree for both weeks of the trip. A pleasant surprise for me and my family!
