This picturesque market town, which has taken on a long formation within the confines of a limestone gorge, is actually built into the rock at its oldest part. Little squares and bridges, houses linked by underground passages and a few buildings of interest: the Sant’Andrea Church, built in Aragonese Gothic style, the Madonna del Rosario Church with its beautiful frescoes, and, best of all, the Domus Sa Rocca, a necropolis dating from the pre-Nuragic era that is dug into the limestone. The country church of San Pancrazio di Nusri 3km away is worth a visit.
