The San Nicola monastery accommodates this museum, which unites pieces found across the whole Agrigento region. Do not miss the colossal 7.5 m high Telamon (Atlantes), taken from the temple of Jupiter (there were once 38 of these), or the Ephebe of Agrigente, a marble statue from 5BC probably depicting representing a local winner at the Olympic games, and a superb collection of Attic vases and the very beautiful crater of Gela (bowl for mixing wine).
