This small church was built in the 17C at the end of a promontory of the Orlando Cape, over the ruins of the Castle of Orlando. The panoramic site here is admirable.

Excavations have unearthed the frigidarium , the tepidarium and the caldarium and even the suspensorae which helped heat the thermal rooms of an ancient Roman villa, near San Gregorio, the East suburb of the Orlando cape.
