This sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna is 800m above sea level in the middle of a forest of oak and chestnut trees. This one of six 6C sanctuaries by Gregory the Great. The current building is the product of a number of modifications made during the Baroque period. The façade dates from 1907. Do not miss the Byzantine style 11C fresco of the Virgin and Child in one of the chapels. You can also visit a museum dedicated to the lives of the Capuchin brothers set up in the convent-annex.
