Erice : Michelin's recommendations
Perched on a high triangular plateau overlooking the sea, Erice stands at an altitude of 750m on the mountain of the same name. Defended by walls and towers, the medieval town is a labyrinth of paved alleyways and narrow streets. The town has two distinct atmospheres: on bright sunny days in summer it offers superb views of the sea and surrounding valley; in winter, the town is often shrouded in mist, creating a mysterious ambience that seems far removed from modern reality.

High walls (Mura Elimo-Puniche)
