This graceful medieval village, nestling on the slopes of the Peloritani mountains, offers a splendid panorama of the creek-indented coast, notably from the terrace of the Piazza del Municipio. In the village centre, the combination of flights of steps, a Catalonian Gothic-style archway and the Chiesa delle Triade creates a charming setting. Winding streets climb up to the castle, the ruins of which are surrounded by a peaceful cemetery with a random layout of tombs.
