Frazzano was founded by refugees fleeing the Arab invasion in the 9C AD. The town is especially interesting for its Santissima Annunziata church, a fine example of 18C Baroque. Also of note is the San Lorenzo church, with its plain façade, the doorway of which is adorned with small twisted columns (putti), volutes and floral designs.
