Isole Egadi : Michelin's recommendations

The archipelago of the Egadi islands, off Trapani, comprise of the Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo islands. All of which offer delightful indented coastlines and clear blue sea. From a historical point of view, the archipelago was the setting for an event that was a determining factor in the island’s history. It was here, in 241 BC, that the treaty ending the first Punic War was signed, in which Carthage surrendered Sicily to Rome.
