With the exedra portico by Vincenzo Sinatra the Church forms a very beautiful architectural ensemble. Inside the church there is a beautiful Rococo-inspired cycle of frescoes by Olivio Sozzi. In the chapel to the left of the transept is the canopy carried in the Good Friday processions. The Christ in the wood piece Christ with Column is oddly hunched up, as if to express the pain he is feeling.
