Situated at the foot of the mountain, this fishing village consists of white, cubic-shaped houses with flat roofs. The village has two harbours: the Scalo Nuevo, the modern port, and the Scalo Vecchio, which is used by the village’s fishermen. The headland of Punta Troia extends to one side of the village, crowned by a Spanish castle. Boat trips around the island leave from the landing stage and are a good way to explore the coastline, which is dotted with caves and sheer cliffs.
