Standing on Piazza Caio Duilio (where a fish market is held every morning), the church has an elegant façade with an attractive portal (1620), its architrave sculpted with garlands and scrolls. In a niche is a statue of the Madonna of Consolation. Today the convent of the Carmelites with its harmonious façade is the office of the municipal services.
