The church was built between 1722 and 1741. As well as its portal flanked by torso columns, the church is noteworthy for the magnificent altar retable in enamelled terracotta portraying the Nativity, created in 1487 by Andrea della Robbia. The treasure house has another attractive retable from the end of the 15C.
