The great cloister is surrounded by a run of ogive arcades resting on fine twin columns and has encrusted multicoloured mosaics, inspired by the Orient. The Romanesque capitals are worth a visit by themselves. There are episodes from the Evangelist and the Old Testament, allegorical or simply decorative figures all of which are highly original. In the centre of the cloister, you must see the odd fountain decorated with sculpted buckles.
